Privacy Policy

Last updated 24 September 2026

This policy explains what personal information Methodry collects through this website, why we collect it, how we look after it and the rights you have under UK data protection law.

Who we are

Methodry (“we”, “us”) is a UK-based automation and business efficiency consultancy. For the purposes of UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, we are the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

What we collect

When you submit an enquiry through our website, we collect the information you choose to provide:

  • your name, company name and email address;
  • your phone number, if you provide it;
  • your company size and the area you would most like to improve;
  • any description you give of how your current processes work.

Please avoid including sensitive personal information, or confidential details about other people, in your enquiry.

Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically process technical information such as IP addresses and browser details in server logs, to keep the site secure and working properly.

How we use your information

  • to respond to your enquiry and arrange a conversation;
  • to understand your business needs and prepare any proposal you ask for;
  • to keep a record of our correspondence with you.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.

Our lawful basis

We process enquiry information on the basis of our legitimate interests in responding to people who contact us, and — where you ask us to — to take steps towards entering into a contract with you.

Who we share it with

We use carefully chosen service providers to operate this website and to receive and manage enquiries (for example, website hosting and business software). They process information only on our instructions and are required to keep it secure. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as UK adequacy regulations or approved contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting relationship. If an enquiry does not lead to further work, we aim to delete it within 24 months of our last contact.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete your information;
  • object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use your information;
  • ask for your information to be transferred to another organisation, where applicable.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
